How TSR modules are identified
From 1978 to the mid-1990s, TSR stamped its adventures with series codes: a letter for the series, a number for the order. Collectors still speak this language: "B2" means The Keep on the Borderlands, no further explanation needed. Pre-1985 prints rarely carry barcodes and occasionally share ISBNs across titles, so the stock number and copyright page are how serious identification is done (we grade and identify every copy this way; here is how we grade).

Reading a TSR stock number
The four-digit stock number (1000-9999 for pre-1990 product) roughly tracks release order: 9022 (S1, 1978) is early; 9577 (Greyhawk, 1998) is the twilight. The Acaeum and the TSR Archive document every printing variation (see our Sources We Trust); we use both when grading.
Collecting in Australia
TSR product crossed the Pacific in modest numbers, and forty years of game nights claimed many survivors, so local copies are scarcer than US listings suggest, and importing adds postage, wait and customs risk. Our TSR stock is graded honestly and ships from Australia.
